What we collect

Account: email address, hashed password, preferred language.

Saved data (only if you save it): exporter details, payment terms, bank details text, remarks, buyer/consignee address book, logo and signature/stamp images.

Usage: the number of shipments for which you downloaded documents each month (invoice numbers are stored only as one-way hashes).

Billing: subscription status from Paddle. Card and payment details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.

We do not store the product spreadsheets you upload; they are processed in your browser.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, send account emails (verification, password reset), manage subscriptions, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal data.

Processors

Amazon Web Services (hosting, email delivery), Paddle.com (payments, Merchant of Record), Anthropic (AI suggestions — product names only), and the European Central Bank reference rates via Frankfurter (no personal data).

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days after you ask us to delete your account, except where law requires longer retention.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing business@aple.io.

Cookies and storage

We use your browser’s local storage for your login token, language and label preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
